SPACE IC SPPL12420RH – Efficient Power Conversion Directly at the Load
Radiation-hard, ESCC-qualified and delivering up to 2 A of continuous output current: the SPPL12420RH point-of-load converter from our manufacturer partner SPACE IC enables efficient local power conversion for satellite electronics.
Modern satellite power distribution systems often use common semi-regulated supply voltages, such as 12 V. Individual electronic modules, however, require specific voltages and currents tailored to their needs. Power conversion therefore takes place directly at the load—the so-called point of load.
The integrated SPPL12420RH provides an easy-to-implement solution: combined with just a few passive components, the converter can be integrated directly into the modules it supplies. It delivers 2 A of continuous output current at output voltages down to 0.9 V. Its high efficiency supports energy-efficient operation of satellite electronics.
Designed for the demanding conditions of space, the SPPL12420RH is radiation-hard and ESCC-qualified.
Key benefits at a glance:
- Local power conversion: Supplies power directly at the load.
- Easy integration: Requires only a few additional passive components.
- High-performance power supply: 2 A continuous output current and output voltages down to 0.9 V.
- High efficiency: Makes efficient use of available energy.
- Qualified for space applications: Radiation-hard and ESCC-qualified.
