International Rectifier – HiRel SupIR-SMD QPL-qualified rad hard MOSFETs

IR HiRel is pleased to introduce fourteen newly QPL-qualified rad hard MOSFETs in its innovative SupIR-SMD package. Optimized for surface mount attach, the SupIR-SMD is capable of attaching directly to the PCB, enabling the shortest thermal conduction path without any compromise to system reliability.

Compared to the nearest packaging solution used in space applications, the SMD-2 on a carrier, the JANS-qualified SupIR-SMD package delivers:

• 37% smaller footprint
• 34% lighter mass
• 33% higher current density

The new SupIR-SMD QPL-qualified rad hard MOSFETs are available immediately, with the MIL-PRF-19500 package identifier ‘U2A.’
