Evans Capacitors – Product announcement: HyCap Capacitors

HyCap capacitors offer the same proven Hybrid capacitor technology in the traditional tantalum wet case style. They are available in standard DSCC 93026 and DSCC 10004 ratings.

The capacitors are comprised of sintered tantalum anodes and ruthenium oxide coated cathodes operating in aqueous electrolyte. The components are confined by a compressed gasket, followed by a hermetically welded glass to metal seal.

The capacitors are hermetically sealed such that the package does not leak electrolyte or vent any gas when exposed to a vacuum, per MIL-STD-202, Method 112, Condition C, Procedure IIIa.

Operating temperature is -55°C to +125°C (with voltage de-rating) and storage temperature -62°C to +130°C.

HC4B and HC4D ratings in both standard temperature and high temperature versions.
