This non-isolated converter, designed for in-vehicle power distribution, is tailored for 12V/48V battery configurations, catering to various applications like micro and mild hybrid automotive systems.

Operating in both buck and boost modes, this bi-directional DC/DC converter seamlessly manages power distribution. In normal operation (buck mode), it charges a low side (12V) battery, while in emergency situations (boost mode), it charges or assists the high voltage (48V) battery. Operating akin to an ideal current source with variable direction, it facilitates energy transfer between the two voltage domains.

The converter ensures voltage feedback to maintain the output within the acceptable range, enabling a customized charging profile for the battery pack. Controlled via the CAN interface, it regulates the average current flow between the high voltage and low voltage ports.

Designed in an unprecedented low-profile package with a weight yet to be determined (TBD), it meets harsh shock and vibration requirements, facilitating easy integration with a battery pack. Three M6 bushings, two for power connection and one for ground connections, enhance its connectivity.
