This bi-directional converter operates in two modes: during normal operation (buck mode), it charges the low-side (12V) battery, while in emergency situations (boost mode), it charges or supports the high-voltage (48V) battery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Functioning as an ideal current source with variable direction, the converter enables efficient energy transfer between two voltage domains. Voltage feedback ensures the output voltage remains within an acceptable operating range, allowing for a custom charging profile for the battery pack.
